Description
A Florida-licensed money transmitter entity is offered for sale. The core transaction is 100% ownership of the licensed company, together with its corporate, licensing, compliance, examination and operating records.
Licence and operating profile
The entity holds a Florida Money Services Business licence under Part II (money transmitter). The licence was first issued in 2019 and the current licence document runs to April 2028. The company is largely inactive and no active client portfolio is included in the offer, so a buyer acquires a licensed entity and its records, not an operating book of business.
Surety bond
A surety bond of US$100,000 is documented. Its current in-force and renewal status, and its continuation under new ownership, are to be confirmed with the surety.
Optional assets, priced separately and provided on request
- Money transfer technology stack: a ready-made processing platform with source code, mobile apps, API gateways, a compliance dashboard, kiosk software and the associated transferable IP.
- Payout infrastructure: payout gateway integrations and related commercial arrangements, subject to provider approvals and onboarding where required.
- Kiosks: 42 kiosks for self-service financial operations, stored in Florida and available in their current condition. Handover and support can be agreed.
All of these are optional. A buyer can take the licensed entity alone, or the entity with any of the additional assets.
Price and offers
Price on request. Indicative offers are invited. Interested buyers are asked to outline the scope they want, the consideration, the cash payable at closing, any deferred component, their conditions and their timing. Required regulatory capital and working capital are funded separately by the buyer.
Confidentiality and due diligence
The company name and licence number are withheld until a buyer has signed an NDA. The full regulatory history, including prior matters with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, and the supporting documents are available under NDA. Completion is subject to due diligence, the agreed asset and IP schedule, definitive agreements, Florida licensing requirements and any necessary third-party approvals.
Who this may suit
Remittance, payments and fintech operators that want an existing Florida-licensed entity, with the option of taking a working money transfer platform and kiosk hardware in the same transaction.
